It was a privilege getting to experience and learn a great deal about conservation through hunting with @spiral_horn_safaris who are now our forever friends! I know a lot of you probably think I’m crazy for being so open to the idea of doing a hunting Safari for our delayed honeymoon but I wouldn’t change it for the world and could not recommend it enough.
Hunting with my husband for the last 2 weeks and being isolated from our busy lives here at home and getting to do so in a BEAUTIFUL country was truly an adventure of a lifetime. Hiking everyday, campfires under the stars every night, dinner on the “crocodile” river, meeting some wonderful people along the way, riding in a helicopter for the first time, impala and springbok steaks …. the list really just goes on and on!
We were so sad to leave but look forward to being back. South Africa will always have a special place in our heart.
